Information Systems Scheduled Maintenance This Weekend, May 18 & 19

What:

  • Texas A&M University-Texarkana Monthly Scheduled Information Systems Maintenance
  • PLEASE NOTE: Faculty and Staff Computer Workstations are now included in monthly maintenance. Please do not turn them off - they must be left ON for Security Patches to be installed.

When:

  • Friday, May 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 11:45. p.m. | ALL Banner Systems including: Web for Faculty & Web for Students
  • Saturday, May 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. | ALL TAMUT Information Systems including: Workstation Computers, Blackboard, Web for Faculty, Web for Students

Impact:

  • DESIGNATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS above will be temporarily unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance and security updates.

Meet Candidates for the HD Director Position
Three candidates will be visiting campus to interview for the HR Director position next week.  There will be a town hall meeting from 1-2 pm.  This is an opportunity  for anyone to meet the candidate and ask questions.  Coffee and cookies will be served and there will be a feedback form for faculty and staff comments. Please make plans to attend on the following dates:

 Monday May 21 @ 1 PM in Eagle Hall

 Wednesday May 23 @ 1 PM in Eagle Hall

  Friday May 25 @ 1 PM in Eagle Hall

CRASE Training (required for all staff)
The University Police Department will be holding CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event) training on May 21,22,23 and 25. The course is free to staff, faculty, and students and will takeplace at 9:00am in Eagle Hall. You may choose whichever of the 4 days you would like to attend. Paving the Way to THE EAGLE Landing
The A&M-Texarkana Alumni Association is offering alumni, students, family members, faculty, staff, and friends of the university an opportunity to sponsor an engraved brick that will be placed at The Eagle Landing walkway in front of University Center on the Texarkana Campus. The cost is $100 per brick, and the deadline to order is May 31. Purchase your brick online at www.tamut.edu/alumni or call 903.223.3153.

Summer hours for the bookstore begin Monday, June 4th.

Wed: 8AM-4PM
Thu:  8AM-4PM
Fri:    8AM-12PM

Summer hours for the bookstore will end on August 10th.
